Moderate-fat diets (25–30% fat) may support primary prevention and risk reduction, but often lack the biochemical intensity required for regression in established lesions [7], [8].
The vascular “irritation” described by patients reflects real postprandial physiology: oxidative stress, impaired nitric oxide bioavailability, and endothelial surface layer vulnerability.
